decisions

I am very glad all but one voter liked our name picks, which I take as a good sign. If it were 100%, I would think you were trying to appease. I was glad to see most the guesses for our actual due date are after June 27, and the most for July 5-9.

Not sleeping well. Not at all. But eating very well, such a nice change from trimester uno and half of dos. I had a student in one of the classes I TA for stop by after taking a two hour final to tell me that I hadn't looked uber-pregnant all semester, until the last week when I just "popped." I was flattered she noticed.

I start teaching a week from tomorrow. I am so excited. I've got my syllabus made up, my slide list is well underway, and my first slide presentation is nearly ready. I have 18 students signed up. I also created a blog for the class that's mostly for helping them write/research their papers and with extra credit. Stuff Blackboard can't do. I hope to do some creative things with it throughout the short semester.

I decided not to work at the Museum this May. My doctor advised me against it because of my problems with dehydration and exhaustion. I would die of guilt if working too much put me into premature labor. If I were pregnant with one baby, I think I could do it, but I'm already full-term size and I still have 10-12 weeks left to go.

Sold the scooter today. Felt like I was giving away a friend. I'm sure we will own another scooter someday, and I'm already dreaming...
