First days at a new job are always overwhelming. But they get better.
My new job at the Springville Museum of Art is going to be a lot of fun; I get to work with a lot of really nice people in a creative atmosphere. With art, in fact! I'm really excited for Unbound, the exhibit Margy's been working on for so long. But there's no denying I am feeling overwhelmed. Sort of like a big wave hit me when I was facing the other way.
Now for the Totally Unrelated Thoughts to Anything at All:
I've been trying to draw a line in my blogging - it's not a journal or a diary, really, and I don't want it to be. But there are parts of my life that have been consuming my thoughts that I don't really can't share, and it's making it hard to blog, or even talking to people. Yeah...that's not enigmatic. Sorry!
Right when I was typing that my dalmatian Walter crawled onto my lap as if he still fit :).
Randomly, I really want this wall decal. But I can't justify spending $55 on something so temporal.
And, I would really like to name a daughter Josephine, after Jo in Little Women. My friend Amy named her daughter Josephine, and I've thought it was brilliant ever since. But it seems like it would be unfair to name a little girl Jo if she isn't coltish or lanky like Jo in Little Women or like Napolean's wife Josephine. But I love the name. Any opinions?
