That was the subject line in an e-mail sent by my favorite (and most expensive) clothing company, Anthropologie. I'm trying to use it as my motto for work. I need some new energy to put into this job - I'm feeling worn out...and a little cranky.
My last day is December 23rd at the Museum, and I've already signed up for my classes next semester: Beginning Clothing Construction, Welsh Reading, and my last three credits of Master's Thesis. It's going to be the best semester yet. I'm going to have two TA jobs, which will amount to a part-time job.
I am coming up on my last semesters at BYU...ever. Literally. I can't go any further. So I figure I might as well make them count and take some classes I have really wanted to take (clothing construction). And I've missed being in Welsh. I've already taken four semesters of Welsh, two of which were reading classes, and it's the best. We read Welsh translations of Roald Dahl around the fireplace at Tom's house. I love it and have missed it this year, mostly because there are no boring students in Welsh. They're all quirky cool anglophiles, who usually also know Elvin.
You know, I STILL get homesick for some of my favorite courses and professors, and just that feeling of being in a class you love. Enjoy every minute of it! (Congrats on being nearly done though...)
ReplyDeleteWe should take a class together. Or maybe not, because I don't want to take Welsh and you don't want to take Chinese.
ReplyDeleteOn that note, let's just hang out together.
