parthenon and pantheon, and other hard words

  1. Ha! How funny! I'm still trying to figure out what is the "pillars between pillars" thing. When viewing the outside of the temple, I guess the columns of the opisthodomus and pronaos might appear "between" columns of the exterior colonnade. Is that what they mean?

    Oh 201 freshman, I wish I could make up words and descriptions as unique as yours...

  2. I know - I was thinking: "Do you mean - a *row* of columns? A colonnade? Or what, exactly?
    Another kid said the Parthenon was an octotron temple, rather than octostyle. Another awesome word make up.

  3. This is the best part of grading, isn't it? Love it. I will be using the word "perfectionated" from now it whenever possible.
