It was a funny begining for me this year when deciding on what to carve in my pumpkin. I gave it a lot of thought, and after some time of debate the lightbulb came on with the key word "debate." Not only was it my goal to carve Obama into my pumpkin, but it was my hope that it would somehow get a fun reaction out of my father-in-law who hates Obama. When he finally saw my creation he gave a satisfying chuckle, but it was to my surprise that he liked it so much that he insisted on photographing it for me. I didn't expect that at all. I thought he would drop kick it and find quick means to destroy it. At least I thought he would never allow it to be placed on his porch for all neighbors to see, not that he would be embarrassed, but that he just hates Obama. Well, now you can find it on his porch shining brightly for everyone to enjoy. Hopefully it will persuade some passerby to vote for Obama!
