I have absolutely loved graduate school. I love being a TA. It's the greatest job. I attend art history lectures and GET PAID FOR IT, have office hours in which I try to infuse students with love of art, and I do the majority of the work in my pajamas. And, seeing as my wardrobe has shrunk to about five shirt choices and three pant choices, anything I can do in my pajamas gets an A+ from me.My thesis defense date is March 13th. After that I get to teach Art History 111 Spring Semester, which I am more than thrilled about.
Graduate school was one of those choices I will never, ever regret and have loved all of it.
yay I'm glad you like graduate school. :) I plan on doing graduate school and hopefully getting a degree in conducting. Or just SOMETHING in music. Hopefully I can enjoy it as much as you are! :D And side note, I'm still soooo excited for you!! I found out I might possibly be in Utah for the whole month of July, so I'm so excited that I might get to meet my new second cousin!!! :D

I'm glad I went for library science instead of art history for a variety of reasons. That said, your program is definitely more fun and interesting than mine.
ReplyDelete(Also, being a TA has always been a wish of mine...I will live vicariously through you)
I couldn't agree more with you. I love graduate school and am glad I made the decision to go back. Miss you!
