This party is a hero party, because of something someone did.

My mom has been an extraordinary help to me over the past month. I've been having some quite unexpected health issues, and my mom has truly been my hero. I thought and thought of a way to show her how thankful I am. I always write her notes or letters. Then inspiration: a party!
It was a lovely family gathering. I presented her with two gifts I designed and made myself, letters of gratitude from all her children (thanks, sibs!) and a marvelous cake by my good friend, Jessica. The cake tasted even better than it looked - if you need a yummy, beautiful cake, I'll point you on the right direction!
