I am not ready for fall. I didn't get enough summer. I feel like fall is encroaching upon me with ever increasing speed. Trevor started school today. I start my new, full-tim job next Tuesday. All my trips are over. My professors are all in town. The Cranberries were on the radio.
It's enough to make me want to run away to the beach. I woke up this morning from having a dream about the ocean....if Trevor weren't in school (or Margy wasn't so busy - she is always up for a trip to the beach!) I'd totally run away to the beach this week.
I vote we make all of our work at the museum a big celebration! And that we wear sandals as long into the fall as we can! And that we make a plan to go to the beach so we have something to look forward to!

The Cranberries are so Fall to me too. Makes me want to go to the homecoming game and hash and rehash failed Summer romances.
